Stephen Crivillaro - Waste to Energy
Stephen
Crivillaro has been working as a green energy consultant since he graduated
from Queens College with a Bachelor's degree in Labor Studies. One of the areas
of green, or renewable energy that interests him the most is waste to energy.
The great thing about waste to energy is that most of the waste that would end up in a landfill is reused, and also that trash is an abundant resource. But he concedes that waste to energy facilities are expensive, and that the public remains unconvinced that waste to energy plants that incinerate trash are free from harmful emissions.
